The Traveler's Pen content is produced by authors from around the world. We publish most of the stories we receive but strive to highlight the most exceptional.
Please only submit finished stories. We do not edit and you can not re-edit your work until it has been published.
After your registration follow these steps to submit your own travel stories:
- Log in.
- Click submit story under the user menu.
- Click on 'generate second editor' then copy and paste your story in the text area. The first text area is for introduction only. The introduction is your first paragraph.
- Copy and paste your first paragraph in the introduction area and then delete it from the second area.
- Use font size 10 with Arial Type. Single space between sentences but double space between paragraphs.
- Add images but please keep them under 200px width. Read this on adding images.
- Include a byline with photo at the end or send the byline to the editor at

- Select Category based on what region the story takes place.
- To submit click save.
